Located in Sonneberg, Germany, this energy storage project was initiated in 2023 and officially commenced operation in May 2024. The system integrates a 5.8MWh battery storage solution with a 6.9MWp photovoltaic (PV) power generation system, contributing to grid stabilization and revenue generation through electricity transmission.The project employs advanced lithium-ion battery containers, coupled with state-of-the-art DC-DC converters and power conversion systems (PCS). These elements ensure efficient energy storage, management, and distribution. The PV panels supply renewable energy, which is stored and dispatched to the grid as needed.
Project configuration
Lithium-ion Battery Containers: 3 units of 1.935MWh, totaling 5.8MWh. SAM DC-DC Converters (1000V): 6 units of 500kVA, totaling 3MW.
